Actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley and Richard Madden will direct Amazon Studios director Philippe Lacôte’s Killer Heat. The film tells the story of twin brothers who fallinto a brutan.
the film is based on Jo Nesbø’s short story The Jealousy Man, from a screen play by Roberto Bentivegna (House of Gucci), with revisions by Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated screen writer Matt Charman (Bridge of Spies; Betrayal).The film is produced by Makeready’s Brad West on and executive produced by Makeready’s Nesbø (thebestselling Harry Hole book series), Niclas Salomonsson, Gordon-Levitt, Tom Karnowski and Make ready’s Collin Creighton.
Filming for the project will begin in May in Create, where Faliro House will serve as the local production house.
Inception star Gordon-Levitt recently starred in Rian Johnson’s Poker Face,while Big Little Lies star Woodley will joinWill Rogen in Dirty Money later this year. Game of Thrones star Madden will soon be starring alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the Prime Video series Citadel, which premieres April 28.

Shailene Woodley is an award winning actress known for her roles in such films as The Descendants, The Fault in our Stars, The Spectacular Now, and most recently from her Emmy-nomi nated performance in the acclaimed series big little lies. Later this year Woodley will be seen in Dirty Money opposite Seth Rogen and Paul Dano for Sony as well as Ferrari opposite Adam Driver for Michael Mann. She will also star in the comedy, Robots opposite Jack Whitehall for Neon. On the television side, Woodley will star in the television series Three Women, adapted from Lisa Taddeo’s best selling novel.
