Marly Rivera a former baseball reporter for ESPN released a statement on wednesday regarding her dismissal from the company for using profane language toward another journalist during an incident that occurred recently at yankee stadium.

Not long after the New York post detailed her terminating Rivera told the post she acknowledges liability regarding her activities toward ivon gaete preceding the holy messengers yankees game in New york on april 18 preceding taking note of there were uncontrollable issues at hand in regards to the show down.

Rivera and gaete who is the spouse of MLB VP of inter changes John blundell were discovered on video getting into a question in regards to a meeting with yankees star Aaron judge prompting Rivera calling gaete a f—ing c-t as per the post. Rivera claimed that she had scheduled time to speak exclusively with judge and became enraged when gaete refused to leave according to reports.

Rivera stated to the post i fully accept responsibility for what i said which i should not have. There were special conditions yet that not the slightest bit is a reason for my activities. I do believe that i am being singled out by a group of people with whom i have a long history of professional disagreements. I am a professional baseball player with a stellar reputation.

Rivera reportedly attempted to apologize to gaete but the offer was turned down. Rivera had spent the previous 13 years working for ESPN. In a statement the company said she no longer works here.
